Wim Wenders (August 14, 1945)
If you've never seen Wings of Desire– shame on you! It's a magnificent movie directed by Wim Wenders in 1987. Here is a clip starring the late great Peter Falk, who also starred in The Princess Bride, which I watched last night for what I believe is the eleventh time! So this is the perfect clip to post this morning. I love making those connections!

This is probably my favorite movie of all time, and the Peter Falk parts are especially fantastic. Another favorite scene is when Peter Falk is hanging out with some extras and drawing them, and you can hear him as a voice-over wondering about the people's lives and what had happened to them during the war. Thanks for posting!
